Matua’s 10th birthday

Love todays feature,i love seeing Dessert Tables and Parties for older boys because it does get a bit harder as they get older,  Well Justine of Sensationally Sweet Events did a Perfect job.I love the back drop that describes her son,the colours and the yummy desserts, fit for a 10year old boy. Here is a small description by Justin herself!
"Last week we had a small party for my oldest son, Matua’s 10th birthday. For months he had protested he was “too old for a party” so nothing had been planned but then 2 weeks away from his birthday he announced he had changed his mind, I was in the midst of planning a big Christmas party (aggghhhh!!!) so didn’t have a lot of time to prepare a theme, but he said he would be happier for me to just do some lollies & desserts in his favourite colours and invite some kids over for a swim"

Floral Theme Baptism‏

Hi everyone!! Today we have an exclusive Party Inspirations feature from the very talented Tanya of Lifes Little Celebrations. The Blog focuses around a Party Directory showcasing various party businesses,if you have a theme in mind for a party, just pop over to the blog for party suppliers ,ideas to suite that theme.
Here in Tanya's words is a description of the day.

The Baptism for my daughter Naomi Grace was a small affair so I kept the dessert table very simple. I based everything around a floral look & feel.

I had seen a gorgeous ruffle cake made by Cakes By Sharon and knew I wanted this for the Baptism cake as it was delicate and pretty. Sharon did a gorgeous cross atop the cake with a delicate design. The gorgeous fabric flower pom garland along the front of the table was made by Dunne with Style to match the floral feel.

Also on the table was white chocolate mousse topped with beautiful flower toppers made by Dunne with Style and served with floral wooden spoons from Bespoke Party Products. Oreo pops were also made and I used floral design pop sticks from Polkadot Prints to tie them into the theme.

Princess 1st Birthday Party

What a gorgeous party for a little Princess styled by the very talented Melissa of The Sweet Society. This was a Princess themed birthday party for  her  client’s daughter Aliah, who was turning 1 on New Year’s Eve.
As the party was on New Year’s Eve her client wanted to give her daughter a princess themed party with added accents of bling to tie the themeing in for both celebrations. What a spectacular table, well done, enjoy everyone.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid

YAY!!! i finally get to share with you all my son Theodore's Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Dessert table.I'm so excited that it has been featured on Amy Atlas & Kara's Party Ideas,my two idols in this industry.I styled this Party for my sons 9th birthday. It comes at a hectic time of the year as his Birthday is five days after Christmas. Theodore is in love with ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’, his all time favourite book, so it wasn’t hard to come up with a theme. I made the tissue paper garland, cake stand bunting, cake pops, cupcakes, and the favour bags (using special bookmarks I purchased from eBay). As for the cake, I chose my sons all time favourite classic New York Cheesecake from New York Patisserie here in Sydney, Australia.”
